#15 The Bridge - the space we cross over to all we are yet to discover
At this point we come to the bridge. The bridge is our cross over point to living as all that we become. It is a small space of time yet, as with all bridges, vital to standing on new ground.
Everything at this bridge is the values, the ethics and foundations of the Living System. How it plays out and works. Every time we cross this point how becomes clearer and we become more committed to a realisation that we are here in service.
I need to step back before going forward in order to make certain you are understanding ‘the bridge’ concept.
Until now we have been tied to the old story of life - it marks a few very important pieces highlighted by the very strongly cemented line in place at the intersection of our lemniscate. This line has held us captive. It has told us we are separated, kept us hidden from our true space of belonging and told a story of our rise to consciousness being held only within our own existence.
When we remove that line and go to the new story we see that we all of a sudden find more than who we ever thought ourselves to be. We discover we are a part of all of life - we realise that this wholeness holds so much of our rise to awareness. It also holds expansion on the entire living beyond the current model of systems.
THE BRIDGE is that cool slide through the middle - it is only small in space and time, at this point we gather.
Have you ever noticed the gaps in knots? That no matter how tight you pull there's space hiding for flow, for finding way, at the same time as being a determined connection point. That's the bridge. It’s this space of looped, entwined, entangled webbing, at the same time as being loose and open to movement. This is how we place values into our living. Loosely. So that they evolve. This is how we observe the ethics of life, her foundations and principles that we accept as being so unique to place and people that they are forever open to evolving. The bridge is the crossing, it's in our minds as well as literal. We are bringing in new pathways and paradigm shifts as much as taking actual steps towards our new way of living.
Until now we are learning, growing, becoming. Our connection becomes deeper to our own self awareness and our interconnectedness, our awareness evolving to realisation. There’s never too much to know of one’s self or our place amongst life and so each swirl (return through the lemniscate)of life takes us deeper, closer, into all that we are.
Life is a shared storehouse of inspiration, creativity and expression, all things belonging to all sentient beings.
Never again will only one form, one creation, one lifetime, be the beginning, middle and end of the story but one piece that is shared amongst many. Life is a fluid eternal flow of which our part is one act, that as we find those who share our expressions and creations, we add to the energetic potential of the power of life. We are one - this bridge is the moment of recognising that - and dipping our beings back into the sauce (source) of life that holds our way of becoming and layering ourselves once again in the ethics, principles and foundations of all that we are layer upon layer until we are coated in our truth of belonging.
In the brief time crossing over - yes a death of the old crossing over to the new - we gather what we recognise as being a part of our next steps. We take on the principles and/or the depth of those principles that ‘make sense’ to us at this point in time. We open to ‘what's possible’ and explore ‘greater potentials’. All of this possible and potential is offered by life through her own expressions and examples of being. When we do this we then allow our growth to be lived greater at one with all of life.
Whilst crossing the bridge we do two things, we reconnect to that which we are as alive, vital and expressive forms of energy through our senses and then, through our senses we rediscover the values of life, we feel into them again as the foundations of the Living System which hold the very principles of the way in which life exists.
So we return to all that we are - including re-membering with our feminine - and we gather. Gathering all that is to be the values and knowing of Life that we are a part of - and two - in order to do that we reconnect to our senses and unfurl the feminine within.
It is important of course to highlight here that the removal of all our senses and their roles has maintained our disconnect from life and we are called to become one with them again. In truth we have 6 senses, each of these lead us to our highest knowing, and we discover this in our return. Our most well known taste, sight, hearing, touch and smell are left unable to be expressed without the sixth sense of voice. The capacity to inwardly or outwardly express those senses is vital when it comes to rounding out what it is to feel. To express feelings is crucial to our becoming and all creations have the capacity to do this.
It is our senses that keep us connected to our place in nature and it is our senses that we call upon to discover all that is offered at this crossing. Our senses are our connection to the elements and elementals, to the essence and fabric of life itself. We relish in the smell of the flowers to recognise them, held spellbound by the clouds, the ocean, the birds so that we remember. We taste the food life grows. We hear the songs calling us. It’s our senses that we use to stay connected to nature, and now their importance comes to life in order to build our place amongst nature again. As we awaken the senses to a knowing within we discover that we always knew, and that we always were, always are, always will be, words that mean we are connected and here, a part of life's way. Our senses, our instincts, our intuition become our guide to falling into life once more.
The disconnect from voice, being silenced, is a part of the trauma that is held within all things. That we have a system that not only removes our voice but this in turn removes our expression of sense, the capacity for us to sensate and not express is being held captive within our own being. To vocalise feeling, is not only an essential expression to our connection to our form in life, but to our connection to all forms of life. These six senses that open us too engaging in physical form in this lifetime, that allow us to be within this earthly plane, to then hold deep importance to that which allows us to maintain our connection to the outer worlds.
These senses relate directly then to the higher knowing of instinct and intuition.
Instinct that allows survival on the earthly plane and intuition that offers connection to our being, our energetic field, the star dust from which we begin. This is important to know, for this moment on the bridge allows us to bring both forward, our instinct and intuition as a part of the wholeness of our senses.
Instinct is a part of our animal connection. The capacity too instinctively know is what keeps us alive. Instinct is a part of the more than self existence as it is how the animals and plants exist. We hold this capacity alongside them, as a way that we respond to each other through our senses, responding on instinct to survive.
Intuition is a part of our sacred self, our sacred connection allowing us to stay connected to our higher self. Connected to that which created us as life. This is what makes us unique in our sacred self, as human form, that we remain of higher knowing, not higher intelligence. That our sacred intuition is gifted to caretake, to remind us of our creative caring force of the universe, allowing us the ability to know the space and privilege of cooperation, as love, to all sentience.
Arguably having the voice stripped from us has allowed the separation of our journey to truth to be deepened.
It is important to connect voice to truth telling/revealing/sharing - if we acknowledge that whilst there is an ultimate truth of an event/time/moment - it is through listening to perspectives of truth that this is found - therefore removing voice - removes capacity to know truth. All voices must be heard for truth to be found. Truth is found through a gathering of perspectives. All voices must be heard to form those perspectives. Withholding voices disables the truth to be found and only the ‘best fit version’ of the truth to be shared, hence history only known by the loudest most privileged voices.
Here at this bridge we must make mention of the feminine for it is through her rise that we unfurl our bound wing, never to be clipped again.
The power of the feminine is not to rise to meet the masculine as a force of armed wielded power that strikes down its enemies, rather that it is an unyielding force of energy that seeks right balance and harmony, that allows life to restore itself. It is an intimate connection to creation and balance that presides above, within and about all things. Feminine is the role of nurturer and healer, and when this energy of creation is given its full (f)light and we allow it to emanate from us we are in the greatest power of creation.
It must be noted that both energies of masculine and feminine are within all things, they belong as a balanced energy within every sentience. All things hold both qualities and every quality holds both energetics. We are all of the masculine and the feminine. They are within every moment as is life and death. Which one you choose to express is ultimately the choice of being a part of that moment fully as all that you are and all of life itself or not. That the feminine force has been withheld, has been enabled through the drive of instinct and survival.
The bridge is a gathering, and gathering our senses allows us to take the next step across this threshold.
With our fullness, we open to reimagining our ways through the whole of who we are. That imagination and belonging are not of the mind but of the senses - within our skin beyond our fingertips - and this allows us to realise the need to remember the values of the Living System for it is deep within us that these exist, that within, there already exists the very morals and ethics that continue the creation of life herself, and we belong there.
