Kindred kindness, compassion and care ... the political acts that we all seek now that call a return to Love.
I will write about it, share it, spread it despite the constant calls for action of any other kind - in the end we need to return to a space of Love to find an open embracing heart to see us through.
All my work and writing is based on my book the One Living System (found here). Our place amongst the sacredness of Life and the journey of our return back to its oneness is this moment and the next ... how we live into this, will depend on our waking as the giants that we are to all we can offer to this Life.
Somewhere it is written
Somewhere in the ‘writers guild’ there is a note - check past writings to see what you have said - but I am not that kinda writer. I am a now writer- whats impacting, appearing, being shared - NOW writer. And so I begin with that to highlight that I will - often - repeat myself. For until we actually begin to make these well called ‘paradigm shifts’ in our own being - we remain within the same lesson - on repeat.
My service in this Lifetime is amongst people, having conversations, sharing silence or words whatever suits the most, offering space and time to be heard and to be seen. In these ‘dark times’ the conversations always lead towards stress.
Now I want to highlight again here - even though it has been undoubtedly mentioned numerous times - STRESS -holds place as one of the MOST prevalent symptoms to the most number of illnesses. I am being kind.
STRESS is at the bottom of every dis-ease or illness we encounter.
This stress, as you are well aware dear reader, isn’t biased to whom it lingers or sits with, nor is it concerned with the length of time it spends or selective about where it will show up in our lives or bodies. It is a deeply aggressive symptom, and it is one that holds epidemic proportions today.
In fact - just reading through another medical article a past time of lingering through way too many fields of research - in which we have come to realise (dear science please catch up to the rest of the traditional methods of healing) the impacts of stress on our being and capacity to heal, it is reported that the impacts of stress on cancer patients post diagnosis reveals the enormous impact on survival, and that including action towards lowering stress should be amongst primary treatment and not an after thought.
In these dark times
Of course I say this heading in the voice of the Harry Potter character, and these dark times do not need to be explained again - for they are indeed well known - and dark.
We have so much happening on all levels of being that we are at left and right without place to turn in most scenarios.
The narratives that are bombarding us are wounding us along with the bombs dropped in war zones. All of this is an attack on our system. Our body and being system as much as the Living System of Life herself. We are challenged daily with direction and answers.
And so what to do, is on everyones minds as they lay to try to find sleep as well as the first pressing thoughts as we wake to another day.
I don’t want to harp on the pain - poke into it even more - we know the pain.
I call the solution to be kindred and kind, filled with compassion and care. It is of course our capacity to love and find community .
Yes Love - yes kindness.
Yes compassion and the capacity to hold.
Yes to taking time to serve, as well as being willing to be served.
Seeking help and giving help.
Leading with Love and leading with truth.
Offering ourselves in all ways - asking those around us are you ok - but with intent to listen to the answer.
Listening deeply, wanting to hear, not just voices, but whispers of birds, silence and trees and humms of bees.
Listening with our eyes - observing - deeply into each and all things around us.
Feeling into the senses of the energy we are a part of. The community we are in.
Calling out - being willing to shout if needed - for each other.
These are not menial tasks or lacklustre actions these are powerful deeply resonate calls to our inner essence that connects us to all things and heralds the entire Living System around us to our cause.
We have within us all that is required for Love to be at hand.
For it is our true nature and it is within us all to tend and care. If we are each willing to stop and alter pathways from stress and rush to slow steps and compassion we begin to reduce the impacts on not only our being but the energy that resonates around us.
If we can reach in and offer to our self and those within our community a gentle nurturing we can get through. If we hold our loved ones already with great kindness expand the circle. Make it bigger and encourage the same.
In these times we have our very core essence at hand that can not only make a difference they can reshape the outcomes.
If nothing else, this may be a reminder that turning to Love at these times is powerful.

This is such a powerful and timely reminder, Cari, love, compassion, and connection truly are the medicine we need.
I'm actually developing an app to help people easily check in on one another because creating those small moments of care and connection can ripple out in big ways.
Here's the link to a video post showing how it will work. I would love to hear your thoughts on it:

I love this Cari. It is such an important reminder. I heard a story recently about Maharishi. He was at some sort of seminar with Deepak Chopra on the topic of the brain and neural networks. The speaker was talking about stress and its impact on the brain and body. Maharishi asked for clarification on what it was they were actually talking about, not able to resonate with the concept of stress. Deepak tried a simple definition as explanation to which Maharishi still did not fully understand. After some time in contemplation, Maharishi offered that what they are conceptualizing is actually "resistance to existence." And that really resonated. When we try to control or judge what we see and feel within and without, we resist the full expression of existence. Grace and compassion is required to move through life in an aligned way. Playfulness and creativity are an antidote to judgment and stress.
In such intense times it is important to remember how we experience life influences how we react to it. I encourage all of us to embody a deeper compassion and frequency of love as we engage with each other and shadow aspects of humanity. This does not mean to bypass, but to pause, breath, and infuse love instead of hate.
