This is such a powerful and timely reminder, Cari, love, compassion, and connection truly are the medicine we need.

I'm actually developing an app to help people easily check in on one another because creating those small moments of care and connection can ripple out in big ways.

Here's the link to a video post showing how it will work. I would love to hear your thoughts on it:

I love this Cari. It is such an important reminder. I heard a story recently about Maharishi. He was at some sort of seminar with Deepak Chopra on the topic of the brain and neural networks. The speaker was talking about stress and its impact on the brain and body. Maharishi asked for clarification on what it was they were actually talking about, not able to resonate with the concept of stress. Deepak tried a simple definition as explanation to which Maharishi still did not fully understand. After some time in contemplation, Maharishi offered that what they are conceptualizing is actually "resistance to existence." And that really resonated. When we try to control or judge what we see and feel within and without, we resist the full expression of existence. Grace and compassion is required to move through life in an aligned way. Playfulness and creativity are an antidote to judgment and stress.

In such intense times it is important to remember how we experience life influences how we react to it. I encourage all of us to embody a deeper compassion and frequency of love as we engage with each other and shadow aspects of humanity. This does not mean to bypass, but to pause, breath, and infuse love instead of hate.
